Summary

One of the top three food industries in the world will hold a webinar to introduce a new product to its Latin American buyers. This meeting will need to be interpreted into Spanish, and the client would like to make room for a Q&A portion at the end of the presentation.

2

Background

For the past 10 years, a major food industry corporation contracts UniVerse for language interpretation during their in-person events. With COVID, a new product introduction program needs to be held virtually.

Goals / Challenges

1

Use a platform that will allow for the presenters to give their speeches virtually, and to allow the audience to ask questions and interact at the end of the original presentation.

2

English and Spanish interpretation is required. Company has an account with Google Meet and can’t use Zoom with the channels, but doesn't want the audience to have to use two devices.

Solutions

UniVerse uses its business account with Zoom to set up a meeting with the interpretation channels enabled. Clients were able to make the presentation of their new product and the audience members were able to open their microphones for a question and answer session. UniVerse technicians managed the Zoom meeting and interacted between the interpreters, clients and the audience.
